Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a premier Mini Ratna Schedule ‘A’ Public Sector Undertaking under the Government of India, has released an official notification for the recruitment of 132 Senior Ship Draftsman, Junior Technical Assistant, Laboratory Assistant, Storekeeper, and Assistant in various disciplines. Eligible Indian citizens with the prescribed diploma or graduate qualifications and relevant post-qualification experience can apply through the online mode only. (1) Senior Ship Draftsman (Mechanical)

Qualification: 

  • Candidate must have a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Diploma must be from a State Board of Technical Education.
  • Candidate must have secured minimum 60% marks.

(2) Senior Ship Draftsman (Electrical)

Qualification: 

  • Candidate must have a 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering OR Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
  • Diploma must be from a State Board of Technical Education.
  • Candidate must have secured minimum 60% marks.

(3) Senior Ship Draftsman (Electronics)

Qualification: 

  • Candidate must have a 3-year Diploma in any one of the following:
    Electronics Engineering
    Electronics & Communication Engineering
    Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
  • Diploma must be from a State Board of Technical Education.
  • Candidate must have secured minimum 60% marks.

(4) Senior Ship Draftsman (Instrumentation)

Qualification:

  • Candidate must have a 3-year Diploma in:
    Instrumentation Engineering
    OR
    Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
  • Diploma must be from a State Board of Technical Education.
  • Candidate must have secured minimum 60% marks.

(5) Junior Technical Assistant (Mechanical)

Qualification:

(11) Laboratory Assistant (Chemical)

Qualification:

  • Candidate must have B.Sc in Chemistry.

  • Graduate + PG Diploma in Materials Management.
    OR
    Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Qualification:

    Science
    Commerce
    Computer Applications
    Business Administration
